Street Feet

 

On Monday our Year 1 and 2 children worked with Wakefield Road Safety Team learning about how to safely cross the road.  The children enjoyed the workshop and joined with the activities.

 

 

Father John Assembly

 

Thank you to Father John for coming into school to lead our KS2 Assembly on Monday.  Father John talked about harvest time and the children sang some harvest songs.

 

 

Football Tournament

 

Congratulations to our year 5 and 6 football team who reached the semi-finals of the HACC interschool football tournament on Tuesday. The team came top of their group by beating Havercroft and South Hiendly and drawing with

Bell Lane

.  Goals were scored by Thomas Hopton and Thomas Barry.  All the team played brilliantly against our semi final opponents Kinsley but after a competitive match we were beaten 2-0.  Many thanks to all the children who represented the school excellently and thank you also to all the friends and family who came to support us. Thank you to Miss Norton, Mrs Tudge and Mr Walker for also supporting the fixture.  We have arranged another match on Friday 13^th November 3.30pm against Kinsley at their school.

 

 

Parents Evening

 

Thank you to all the parents who attended parents evening.  If any parents did not attend and would like to discuss their child’s progress with the classteacher or myself please call at the office to make an appointment.  Thank you
