Maths Challenge

 

Thank you to the parents who attended our Maths Challenge meeting on Monday morning. All children have brought home today their first Maths Challenge level and some accompanying information. Please contact myself if you require any further information regarding this new initiative.

 

 

Harvest Festival

 

Our Harvest Assemblies took place on Tuesday. We hope all the parents who attended enjoyed watching the celebrations as much as the children enjoyed performing in them. From the raffle and bucket donations we raised £133.50 which we are going to put towards the curriculum area of Maths.  Thank you to Mrs West for organising the raffle.

 

 

Foundation Stage Open Morning

 

Our Foundation Stage children and their people from home enjoyed a lovely Harvest Open Morning on today. Together with their family members they took part in lots of activities and entertained the adults with their harvest songs.

 

 

School Improvement Partner

 

Our School Improvement Partner, John Allen, visited school on Wednesday for our Autumn Moderated Self Review.  I am delighted to inform you that we remain classified as a ‘1 – Light Touch ‘ School within Wakefield .

 

 

Half Term

 

May I remind you that school closes today for Half Term.  Tomorrow, Friday 23 October, is an INSET day.  School will re-open on Monday 2^nd November for the beginning of the remainder of the Autumn Term.
