13 Oct 2009 - Football Tournament

Congratulations to our year 5 and 6 football team who reached the semi-finals of the HACC interschool football tournament on Tuesday. The team came top of their group by beating Havercroft and South Hiendly and drawing with Bell Lane.

Goals were scored by Thomas Hopton and Thomas Barry.  All the team played brilliantly against our semi final opponents Kinsley but after a competitive match we were beaten 2-0.  Many thanks to all the children who represented the school excellently and thank you also to all the friends and family who came to support us. Thank you to Miss Norton, Mrs Tudge and Mr Walker for also supporting the fixture.  

We have arranged another match on Friday 13^th November 3.30pm against Kinsley at their school.
